Command reference
oko failures show
Prints one failed call: its session and harness, time, kind, tool, command, product and command path, exit status, failure point and code, the line, its defect or why it has none, its transcript and its whole output.
Invocation#
oko failures show ID [--json]Inputs and options#
- A failure's id is its session and the harness's call id joined by `:`, as `oko failures list` prints it.
- The register is OKO_CALL_FAILURES_REGISTER, else call-failures.json beside the defect register (`<defects>.call-failures.json` when OKO_DEFECT_REGISTER moves it); each call's whole output is kept, owner only, in the call-failures directory beside it (`oko failures location`).
Output and state effect#
- --json prints the failure without its output; the output stays in the file its `output` field names.
Refusals and safe exits#
- An id the register does not hold; an output file that cannot be read is printed as `the output of failed call <id> at <file> cannot be read: <cause>`.
