oko instructions settle
Reviews what each executor did with the instructions still sent through Brama, as the standing supervision routine does after every pass.
Invocation#
oko instructions settle [--json]Inputs and options#
- Each sent instruction's recorded supervisor, exact text and target transcript from its recorded coordinate. A fresh executor's first prompt is already present when launch returns, so its coordinate is the initial cursor of its new transcript; an existing session is measured before delivery. The exact text locates the completed turn; it is not a compliance rule.
- The real tests/instructions/settle.rs journey requires a dedicated HOME and genuine instruction/defect registers (OKO_TEST_INSTRUCTIONS_HOME, OKO_TEST_INSTRUCTIONS_SOURCE, OKO_TEST_INSTRUCTIONS_SOURCE_DEFECTS), two completed supervised sends whose observed turns followed and ignored their distinct directives (OKO_TEST_INSTRUCTIONS_FOLLOWED, OKO_TEST_INSTRUCTIONS_IGNORED), an unattributed completed turn (OKO_TEST_INSTRUCTIONS_UNATTRIBUTED), and responding Brama. It replays the real transcript positions into an isolated register under .build, retains commands, exit statuses, model reasons and persisted final state, and never alters the source registers.
- OKO_TEST_INSTRUCTIONS_LEGACY selects a genuine old ignored row with its original unbound charge; the real journey proves that it becomes pending, retains superseded evidence, removes the unsupported charge and records only the new model finding. Run the ignored instructions-settle target only during authorized qualification.
Output and state effect#
- Brama reads the complete turn and judges whether its actual operations followed the instruction, ignored it or leave compliance uncertain. A tool call mentioning the defect or path is not proof of following, and the absence of those strings is not proof of ignoring. A turn that has not arrived or ended remains sent.
- Earlier acted/ignored states based only on id or path mentions are not verified history. Reads project them as pending; the next settle pass retains their old observation as supersededEvidence, removes the unsupported defect charge with an audit note, and rejudges the same real turn. A repeated settlement cannot add a second instruction-sourced charge.
- An ignored instruction is charged once by its stable instruction identity on the defect's interventions (which class signals count and raise priority on repetition) and in the session's instructions_ignored scorecard metric. Replaying a partially settled judgment cannot charge the same source twice.
- Prints {open, settled, unread}; list/show and Oko Desktop → Defects → Supervisor instructions display pendingCause while Brama, the transcript or supervisor identity cannot support a verdict.
Refusals and safe exits#
- An instruction without a recorded supervisor, an unreadable target transcript, Brama's failed operation, an unreadable model answer or an uncertain judgment remains sent with the exact pendingCause and appears in unread. A failed defect charge also remains sent for an idempotent retry rather than claiming settlement without a defect record.
