Command reference
oko tasks unrelate
Removes a recorded relation between tasks, defects or an operator goal.
Invocation#
oko tasks unrelate <task-id|defect-id> <kind> <task-id|defect-id|goal:id>Inputs and options#
- The same three positionals as relate. A goal endpoint is valid only as the target of part-of.
Output and state effect#
- Records the removal in oko_task_relation_removals, deletes the relation from oko_task_relations and prints “task <from> is no longer <kind> <to>”. The next listing no longer shows the relation, and a task that waited only on it is handed over again. oko ledger sync does not carry the removed relation back from an older local index; relating the same pair again deletes the removal.
Refusals and safe exits#
- Refuses without three positionals and prints the usage; an unknown kind refuses as relate does; a pair that is not recorded refuses with “task <from> is not recorded as <kind> <to>; run `oko tasks relations <from>` to see what is”.
- Database and defect-register lookup failures retain their actual cause and stop the removal before the transaction. An endpoint with no current object remains addressable only when a stored relation actually names it. With neither a current object nor a persisted endpoint, the command refuses and names the missing identity.
