Command reference
oko tasks unlink
Removes an explicit message-to-work attachment recorded on the wrong task or defect; it leaves the source message, task reading and any ruling untouched.
Invocation#
oko tasks unlink <session> <message-number> <task-or-defect> [--json]Inputs and options#
- The source session, message number and target as `oko tasks links` prints it. A full UUID of a currently registered defect also resolves to its stored end; the exact stored end remains removable after that work was retired.
Output and state effect#
- Deletes only that attachment under the original Lake message identity when available and rereads the shared register to confirm its absence. Oko Desktop → Rulings → Operator messages and their records offers Remove work link for recorded targets. Rerun `oko rulings unlinked` to see whether another link carries the message.
Refusals and safe exits#
- A missing link refuses `has no recorded work link to <id>` rather than pretending removal succeeded; an unknown or ambiguous alternate target names the lookup failure. A failed delete or a link still present after delete names the message and target.
