oko improve run

Runs one pass of the improvement loop, as the standing reflection routine does each pass after its scan, judgment and review scan: the factory's measures become work, the work is sent, and delivered work is measured again.

Invocation#

Command
oko improve run [--json]

Inputs and options#

  • Every declared factory signal (`oko reflection signals`), read and recorded as `oko reflection signals pass` does; the unanswered entries of the supervisor review queue (`oko review list --open`) not read before; the defect register; the recorded executors.
  • The register is ~/Library/Application Support/Oko/improvements.json; OKO_IMPROVEMENT_REGISTER moves it, and beside a moved OKO_DEFECT_REGISTER it is <register>.improvements.json.

Output and state effect#

  • Each signal past its level with no candidate becomes one: an optimization when its measure is executor idle or hung time or undelivered repairs, a repair otherwise; its defect is the signal's class defect, its motivation the reading, its proof `oko reflection signals remaining --name <signal>` printing no subject.
  • Brama reads the unread review entries for capabilities the factory lacks; each proposal is recorded as a class defect citing its entries, proven when the cited executors file fewer entries of the cited kinds after its repair than motivated it. Each entry is read for proposals once.
  • A pending candidate not yet sent is typed, bound to its defect and assigning it, to the least loaded recorded executor (`oko work backlog`), which keeps it as a tracked instruction (`oko instructions`); a refused send is kept with its cause and tried again next pass.
  • A pending candidate whose defect records a repair is measured again: moved, its verdict is moved; not moved, its defect is reopened with the measurement and its verdict is not_moved.
  • Prints {signals, pass: {at, added, dispatched, verified, nothing, unread}}. A pass that changed nothing names why; consecutive such passes for the same reasons are one record with `until`.

Refusals and safe exits#

  • An unreadable signal declaration, defect register or improvement register refuses with its path. A Brama that cannot be asked, an answer that is not the complete JSON or that cites an entry not in the open queue, and a proposal the register refuses to record are listed under unread; the signal candidates of the pass still stand.
