Command reference
oko defects rebased
Lists each open defect's found-in, repair or attempted repair revision that a rewrite took off main, and the commit with the same patch. --apply follows claims without assuming the new commit was qualified.
Invocation#
oko defects rebased [--product NAME] [--apply] [--json]Inputs and options#
- --product limits to one product; --apply records a found copy; --json prints {id, field, recorded, on_main, cause, applied}. The repair or claim field is reported as repaired for revision-inventory compatibility, but its standing is still derived by the completion measure.
Output and state effect#
- A rewritten commit is matched by author date and git patch-id. Found-in revisions are recorded first; repair claims move to the new commit and stay claimed. The old revision is retained in a note. A fresh real-journey report bound to the new commit is required before `repaired` can qualify it. Without --apply, this is a read only listing; a dropped commit has no copy and is not recorded.
Refusals and safe exits#
- Any flag other than --product, --apply and --json, and any positional word, is refused by name (exit 2). A checkout that cannot be read (no checkout under the workspace, git failing) refuses the whole listing with git's own cause.
- Oko Desktop → Defects → Revisions a rewrite took off main reads the same listing (Read rewritten histories) and records it (Record them) through the same operation; a row with no copy on main shows its cause under Not recorded.
- The real CLI journey in tests/defects/rebased.rs rewrites a checkout of its own under the package's build directory, in a HOME of its own, and reads the rows before and after --apply; a commit main dropped is reported with its cause and recorded nowhere.
