Command reference

oko journal fail

Records why the running claim of a job failed. A completed receipt wins when only a later artifact upload failed.

Invocation#

Command
oko journal fail <job> --journal NAME --detail TEXT

Inputs and options#

  • The job id and the failure detail.

Output and state effect#

  • Moves a running claim to `failed` with the detail and prints `{failed: job}`.

Refusals and safe exits#

  • `oko journal fail requires <id>`, `oko journal fail requires --detail <text>` (exit 2).
