Command reference

oko defects note

Adds one dated observation to a defect, the way new evidence of a known defect is recorded instead of a second defect.

Invocation#

Command
oko defects note <id> --text TEXT [--json]

Inputs and options#

  • The defect id and the observation.

Output and state effect#

  • Appends the note and prints `noted <id>: <n> observation(s) recorded`.

Refusals and safe exits#

  • `oko defects note requires <id>`, `oko defects requires --text <text>` (exit 2); `a defect needs the observation to add` for a blank text; `no defect with id <id> is registered`.
