oko defects reopen

Reopens a closed defect, withdraws a recorded repair, or takes back a withdrawal, keeping what had been recorded as a dated note.

Invocation#

Command
oko defects reopen <id> --reason TEXT [--json]

Inputs and options#

  • The defect id and why the recorded repair, closing evidence or withdrawal does not hold.

Output and state effect#

  • Clears the closing or repair revision or the withdrawal, records the earlier state and the reason as a note, and prints `reopened <id>`.

Refusals and safe exits#

  • `oko defects reopen requires <id>`, `oko defects requires --reason <text>` (exit 2); `a defect needs why the recorded repair or closing evidence does not hold` for a blank reason; `defect <id> is open and records no repair or withdrawal; there is nothing to reopen`.
