Command reference

oko tasks messages

Prints every operator message of a session, in order and verbatim.

Invocation#

Command
oko tasks messages (--open [--hours N] | --session ID ...) [--out PATH] [--json]

Inputs and options#

  • --open selects every live session; --hours N limits by transcript modification time. --session selects one exact session and may repeat.
  • --out writes one file instead of standard output; --json selects structured output.

Output and state effect#

  • Reads each selected live transcript and prints the file, operator message count, and every operator message with its ordinal and time. Human-attributed OMP steering is included; runtime steering and agent messages are not. Nothing is summarised.
  • --out writes the same text to one path and prints how many messages from how many sessions it holds.

Refusals and safe exits#

  • Refuses without --open or --session. A missing or unreadable transcript or a failed shared-database read exits unsuccessfully. --out creates its parent folders; a path that cannot be written refuses naming the path and error.
