Command reference
oko rulings enforce
Binds to one ruling the mechanism that now makes the corrected behaviour impossible to repeat: a Tama hook, a product command's refusal, or a real test, each by name and the product revision that carries it. A correction the operator gave once is answered once; the mechanism is what keeps it answered.
Invocation#
oko rulings enforce <id> --kind hook|refusal|test --name NAME --product PRODUCT --revision REVISION --by SESSION [--json]Inputs and options#
- The ruling id or its unambiguous prefix; --kind is hook, refusal or test; --name is the hook's id, the refusing command or the test's path in its repository; --product and --revision name where it lives; --by names the session binding it.
Output and state effect#
- Writes the mechanism on the ruling, replacing an earlier one, and prints `ruling <id> is enforced by <kind> <name> of <product>@<revision>`; `oko rulings show` prints it on its `enforced` line, `nothing yet` before one is bound.
Refusals and safe exits#
- `oko rulings enforce requires <id>`, `oko rulings enforce does not take <flags>; it takes --kind, --name, --product, --revision, --by, --json`, `oko rulings enforce requires --kind <text>` and the same for --name, --product, --revision and --by (exit 2); `a mechanism is a hook, a refusal or a test; got <kind>`; `no ruling with id <id> is registered`.
