oko claims verify

Records one verdict on a claim. A claim holds once the newest verdict of every kind its class needs holds at its revision: a repair needs the measure its defect declares — a real test (the criterion's journey report) for a single defect, a structural inventory for a class — and for a build-first item also an adversarial reviewer who tried to break it; a push a structural check of the pushed tree; a tool call a structural check and Brama's judge. A broken verdict breaks the claim. When `oko defects repaired` measures a repair itself, the passed measure is recorded as the claim's test or structural verdict, by `oko defects repaired: the declared completion measure`.

Invocation#

Command
oko claims verify <id> --finding holds|broken|unavailable --kind structural|test|judge|adversarial|ruling --by WHO --method TEXT --evidence TEXT --revision REV [--model M] [--provider P] [--json]

Inputs and options#

  • --by is the verifying session, or for `ruling` the operator's ruling on the claim's subject; --method says how (the probe, the test command, what was tried) and --evidence what was observed (commands, exit statuses, output, a report path). An adversarial verdict names the reviewer's --model and --provider.

Output and state effect#

  • Prints `claim <id> on <subject> now <standing>`: `holds`, `broken by its <kind> verdict` or `unverified: no holding <kinds> verdict`. A broken verdict on a repair takes the repair back from its defect (`oko defects reopen`) with `claim <id> broken by the <kind> verdict of <who> (<method>): <evidence>` as the reason, while the defect still carries that revision; the item stays with its owner. With --json the claim with `standing` and `said`. Oko Desktop → Defects → Claims records the same verdict.

Refusals and safe exits#

  • `claim <id> is about <revision>; a verdict on <other> judges other code: record a claim about that revision`; `an adversarial verdict names the reviewer's --model and --provider, so it can be shown to differ from the author's`; `claim <id> names no author session, so no review can be shown to come from someone else; …`; `session <s> made claim <id>; its author cannot be its adversarial reviewer`; `claim <id> was made on model <m>; an adversarial reviewer runs on another model` and the same for the provider; `ruling <id> decides <subjects>, not <subject>; …`; `no claim with id <id> is registered`; `<word> is not a verdict: name holds, broken or unavailable`; `<word> is not a verifier kind: …` (exit 2).
