Command reference
oko planning run
Runs an admitted plan step by step. Before each step every condition is asked again, its producer having run; after each step its effect's test must succeed. A condition that stopped holding, a command that fails or an effect its test does not confirm stops the run naming the step and the cause, and the steps not yet done are revised (as revise does, a step done no longer waited for) into --revised, so the next run starts from what still holds.
Invocation#
oko planning run --plan FILE --revised FILEInputs and options#
- --plan as for check; --revised the file the revised remainder is written to when the run stops.
Output and state effect#
- Prints `{done: [{id, run, effect}]}` with what each command and test answered.
Refusals and safe exits#
- The plan's check refusal when it is not admitted; `the plan stopped at step <id> after <n> done: its condition <name> no longer holds (<status>: <stderr>)`, `… its command failed (<status>: <stderr>)`, `… its effect <name> is not confirmed (<status>: <stderr>)` or `… could not run: <cause>`, followed by `; the steps not yet done are revised into <path> (<n> dropped)` or `; the steps not yet done could not be revised: <why>`.
