Command reference

oko innovation edit

Changes a pending innovation's title, problem, promised figure, cost or sources; its baseline and quotes stay as read.

Invocation#

Command
oko innovation edit <id> [--title T] [--problem TEXT] [--expect FIGURE] [--cost-hours H] [--source TEXT]... [--json]

Inputs and options#

  • The register is ~/Library/Application Support/Oko/innovations.json; OKO_INNOVATION_REGISTER moves it, and beside a moved OKO_DEFECT_REGISTER it is <register>.innovations.json.

Output and state effect#

  • Prints the changed innovation.

Refusals and safe exits#

  • “oko innovation edit changes --title, --problem, --expect, --cost-hours or --source; none was given” (exit 2).
  • “<measure> read <baseline> at its proposal; <expected> is not lower”; “innovation <short> is <verdict> already; only a pending one changes”.
