Command reference

oko work resources declare

Declares how many hours sooner the work must end before the operator is asked for a resource, and what each resource costs.

Invocation#

Command
oko work resources declare --gain-hours H --by WHO [--cost RESOURCE=TEXT]... [--json]

Inputs and options#

  • RESOURCE is sessions, hosts, subscriptions or serial gate.

Output and state effect#

  • Writes resource-asks.json beside the defect register (OKO_RESOURCE_ASKS) and prints the declaration.

Refusals and safe exits#

  • “oko work resources declare: --gain-hours takes hours above zero; got <text>”, “oko work resources declare: --cost takes RESOURCE=TEXT; got <text>” and “--cost names <resource>; a cost is declared for one of sessions, hosts, subscriptions, serial gate” (exit 2).
