Command reference
oko defects classes attribute
Places one process signal as a judgment decided: the model's when Brama answers, the session's own when it does not.
Invocation#
oko defects classes attribute <signal> (--class CLASS (--cause CAUSE | --cause-text TEXT) | --open --product PRODUCT --shape SHAPE --cause-text TEXT) --by SESSION [--json]Inputs and options#
- --class with --cause makes the signal the evidence of a cause the class names; --class with --cause-text names a new cause of the class with the signal as its evidence; --open records the class of a process shape in PRODUCT, the product that owns the process, with the signal as its evidence and --cause-text as its first cause.
- The placement and the cause it names are one write of the class register, so a second judgment of the same signal is refused before it writes anything; a placement that opens a class claims the signal first and lets the claim go when the class cannot be opened.
Output and state effect#
- Keeps the attribution in the class register, notes `signal <id>: <text> — attributed to cause <cause> by <session>` on the class, and prints `signal <id> is evidence of cause <cause> of class <short id>`, with the `placement pending …` line `open` prints when --open opened a class Brama has not placed; --json prints `{signal, source, text, class, cause, by, at, placement}`. `oko defects classes` lists the placed signals of each class under signals.
Refusals and safe exits#
- `oko defects classes attribute <signal> takes --class C with --cause K or --cause-text T, or --open --product P --shape S --cause-text T, and --by SESSION` (exit 2).
- `no process signal <id> is read from any session's own error register (`.build/<session>-to-register.txt`, `.build/to-register/`) of the workspace[; registers that could not be read: …]; `oko defects classes process` lists the signals`; `signal <id> was already attributed to cause <cause> of class <class> by <session> at <time>`; `signal <id> is being placed by another judgment opening its class`; `class <id> already holds the shape; attribute the signal to it with --class <short id> ("<shape>")` and `class <id> held the shape and is closed; reopen it and attribute …`; every refusal of `cause add` and of `oko defects record`.
