oko claims reattribute

Corrects whom a claim is attributed to. A claim's author decides whose standing its verdicts and credits charge, so a wrong author charges one session and model for another's work; the correction replaces it in place and keeps the attribution it replaces on the claim, with who replaced it, when and why, so the history stays readable and a correction made in error is corrected the same way.

Invocation#

Command
oko claims reattribute <id> --author SESSION [--model M] [--provider P] --reason TEXT --by WHO [--json]

Inputs and options#

  • The claim id or its unambiguous prefix. --author is the session the claim belongs to; --model and --provider name the route it ran when known. --reason says what shows the attribution was wrong, --by who corrects it.

Output and state effect#

  • Writes the new author, model and provider on the claim and appends the replaced attribution to its attributions (author, authorModel, authorProvider, authorRouteFailure, authorRouteVerified, replacedBy, replacedAt, reason). A hand attribution is never a verified author route: authorRouteVerified becomes false and authorRouteFailure says it was attributed by hand, by whom and why. The claim's verdicts stay, since they judge its revision, not its author.
  • When `oko claims record` later joins a repair to the source commit's recorded tool call and that names another author route, the attribution it replaces is kept the same way, replaced by `oko claims record`.
  • Prints `claim <short> is attributed to <author>` and one `was <author> until <time> (replaced by <who>: <reason>)` line per earlier attribution, which `oko claims show` also prints; with --json the claim with `standing` and `said`. Oko Desktop → Defects → Claim attribution reads a claim's attributions and reattributes it through the native API (`claims` `reattribute {id, author, model, provider, reason, by}`).

Refusals and safe exits#

  • `claim <id> is already attributed to <author> with that model and provider; nothing was changed`.
  • `a claim attribution needs <field>` for a blank --author, --reason or --by; a flag other than --author, --model, --provider, --reason, --by and --json is refused by name (exit 2); `no claim with id <id> is registered`.
