Command reference
oko defects operations observed
Keep what the owner's open trial was seen to do, whichever way the hypothesis went.
Invocation#
oko defects operations observed DEFECT --session SESSION --observed TEXT (--confirmed | --refuted) [--json]Inputs and options#
- --session is the session that named the open trial. --observed is what the operation was seen to do. --confirmed when that is the evidence the trial expected, --refuted when it is not: exactly one of the two.
Output and state effect#
- Records the result (time, observation, confirmed) on the open trial and prints the defect; oko defects show lists every trial with its result. The defect's state is not changed: a confirmed hypothesis is an observation, not a repair, and a refuted one leaves the functionality as refused as before.
Refusals and safe exits#
- defect <id> has no trial waiting for its result
- the open trial of defect <id> was named by <session>; its result is recorded by the session that ran it
- Neither or both of --confirmed and --refuted is a usage refusal; nothing is written.
