Command reference
oko requirements take
Hands an agent session the windows it reads next: the ones it already holds, then the oldest nobody holds. `oko work next` hands an idle executor this command while windows wait.
Invocation#
oko requirements take --session S [--count N] [--json]Inputs and options#
- Oko runs no model for the reading and asks no other product: the judgment of a window is the agent session's that takes it, the model that session already runs on.
- --session names the session that reads; --count how many windows, the declared takeCount when left out.
Output and state effect#
- Each handed window is held by the session until it submits or releases it. Prints session, waiting (windows no session has read), instructions (what to write for each window), shape (the file's JSON shape), submit (the command that keeps it) and windows: {window (its id), session and transcript it belongs to, first, last, account (his messages it must account for), open (items still open in its session and the newest of its directory), held (the held requirements nearest it in meaning, which a statement may name as repeated), text (the window as Oko shows it)}.
- With nothing left to read it prints windows [] and waiting 0.
Refusals and safe exits#
- A missing --session is `oko requirements take requires --session <text>`; `--count 0` is `oko requirements take: --count 0 hands nothing; leave it out or name at least 1` (exit 2). It waits for a reading pass that writes the same files, saying so on standard error, and refuses when the embedding model is not installed.
